The Norwell Women's Club will host a holiday affair, "Holiday on the Common" on Sunday, Dec. 8th  from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the Cushing Center in Norwell Center, located at 673 Main Street.

   Santa arrives by fire truck to Cushing Center by 2:30 pm. Greeted by many Children waiting for the opportunity for a photo with Santa. There will be arts and crafts, light refreshments of cider and cookies and entertainment will be provided by Dona Mayer Children’s Choir   The event, which is hosted in conjunction with the Men's Giving, will also feature the annual Christmas Tree lighting, at 4:45 p.m. on the town common. The Norwell Garden Club will display its greens for sale at the event.
