Get ready to stroll into the holiday spirit! The Norwell Women’s Club Holiday Stroll promises an unforgettable afternoon filled with festive cheer! Join us on Saturday, December 7th, from 1-4 PM, as Main Street in Norwell Town Center transforms into a winter wonderland perfect for the whole family!
Picture an afternoon in Norwell town center, where you’re wrapped up in your coziest scarf, hot cocoa warming your hands as you wander down Main Street surrounded by the twinkle of lights and the sound of carolers harmonizing in perfect, festive cheer.
What’s in store?
🎵 Live music and harmonies
🍪🍷 Scrumptious nibbles and holiday drinks
🎭 Whimsical face-painting and holiday crafts
🌲 The grand tree lighting
🏠✨ A gingerbread house decorating contest for both children and adults
🎅 And of course, the main man himself — Santa! Ready for photos and a little Christmas magic? Don’t forget to bring your letter to Santa! The letter template is below.
And that’s not all, the Holiday Light House Decorating Contest is set to dazzle and delight as it kicks off in full festive swing!. Grab your map, which includes a scavenger hunt version just for the kids, and embark on an adventure through Norwell’s most spectacularly decorated homes. Cast your vote to crown the winning holiday house! Judging runs from Saturday, Dec 7th through Tuesday, Dec 24th, so you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy the sparkle.❄✨
Whether you’re 8 or 80, this is the event that will have you feeling like you just stepped into a classic holiday movie. So dust off those winter boots, bring your jingle bells and join us for an afternoon of laughter, lights, and memories that’ll make your heart grow three sizes.

Purchase a personalized Holiday Ornament for a loved one
Ornaments can be purchased in advance and picked up at the Holiday Stroll event at the town common.
All proceeds support the Holiday Stroll community event.
Gingerbread House Contest
Get out your candies and frosting because our Gingerbread House Contest at the Holiday Stroll event is coming up soon!

Please drop off your gingerbread house at 12 pm on Saturday 12/6 at First Parish Church of Norwell, 24 River Street!
You can download the letter to Santa and drop it into his mailbox at The James Library during the Holiday Stroll event.
We hear Santa will be returning the letters with a personal note to your child too!
holiday house decorating contest
Enter your house to join the competition and to be included in the NWC Holiday Lights Map. Entry is only $20 per house with a chance to win $200! All donations go back into our community through scholarships and grants.
